For the Groom: A Touch Up
Posted by Sarah Smith
On your wedding day, you'll wear makeup -- a little or a lot depending on your comfort level -- or at least, I hope you will. And brides who want to go au naturel, I beg you, at least use the bare makeup minimum: concealer, foundation, blush, mascara, and lipstick. You'll look extremely like yourself, just void of any redness, blemishes, or dark circles. And since the white wedding gown will wash out your skin a bit, the warmth from the blush will just give you a healthy glow -- not a clownlike cast.
That being said, what about your groom?
Will you let your makeup artist give him a "touch up"? Guys have to look good, too, you know! Obviously, this wouldn't fly on an everyday basis, but what with razor bumps, blemishes, dark circles, and redness (men, as we know, aren't that great about using sunscreen), on your wedding day, I think a little concealer is totally acceptable (and sometimes necessary).
Menaji Camo Concealer is non-comedogenic (so your groom won't break out), fragrance free, and contains jojoba oil and beeswax moisturizers. It comes in three shades and has a matte finish. Tell your man, once it's on, no one will know. It's true!
What are you thoughts on the matter? Can a groom wear a little cover-up on his (and your) big day?
