I had the privilege of running into a couple friends, drink champagne, make new friends, and learn about new products while attending Fashion’s Night Out at The Plaza Hotel’s Beauty department.
My first stop was to see the latest jewelry pieces from Nix & Stones, by my friend and jewelry designer Amy Colvin Nix.
Nix & Stones collections are composed of one of a kind pieces with material ranging from Swarovski crystals, amythest and citrines, to geodes, agates and fresh water pearls. The colorful and bold pieces are reminiscent of Old Hollywood. There were even two young women on hand, modeling some of the jewelry pieces.
Next I ran into a familiar brand, Menaji, which provides skincare for men. I learned about this cool line in May at the Makeup Show New York; when President & Founder Michele Probst, sat me down and applied a few products onto my skin. I was being pampered and it was a nice experience. Prior to writing this article I was given the Menaji After Shave and Menaji 911 Eye Gel. I like both products, and I’ve been using the aftershave following every shave since.
I was introduced to Lisa Goldfaden and her cosmetic line Goldfaden. Goldfaden provides preventative and restorative skincare. Some of the company’s guarantee’s is that the products are 100% Vegetarian, contains Organic & Natural Ingredients, and is free of parabens, artificial colors, alcohol, and mineral oils, among other things.
The jewelry of Rachel Brown caught my eye, and struck a cord. Ms. Brown combines her spirituality and art, by engraves Kabalistic meditations onto her jewelry. her wish is this will bring the wearer blessings, protection, perfect health, prosperity, and miracles.
There was also a raffle in which guest won free Azagury perfume, a Light by Debra Skyler necklace, and a package of Menaji Men’s skincare products.
